Look at this first phase as a ‘reality check.' Its purpose is to help you face personal facts so that, together, we can set realistic, achievable goals and make you comfortable and confident in your own skin. Remember, no one else has your physiology. You are unique. That’s why your Champion4Fitness program is specially designed around ‘the science of you.’
During your first three sessions we’ll learn about your strengths, weaknesses
and limitations through a series of assessments or ‘profiles.’
We’ll quantifiably measure your health, fitness, performance capacity
and longevity using ‘bio markers.’ These biomarkers are reflections of
your current physical
shape as well as barometers of change over time. They help us pinpoint
precisely where you are relative to where you need to be. These measures
create your individual fitness profile. As a part of your profile you’ll
receive a ‘Fitness Profile Number’ to aid you in
tracking your progress.
Your Welcome Session
Knowledge is power, so right after you come in and sign up with C4F we’ll give you a packet explaining all the details of our three-part fitness process.
We’ll ask you to do a little homework to let us know your medical history, lifestyle habits and nutritional habits.
We’ll wrap up by scheduling your first C4F session.
Your Preliminary Assessment Session
By now you’ve read up on C4F, completed your health questionnaire and signed a consent form for health screening.
It’s time to meet with the C4F Exercise Physiologist.
Together you’ll talk through the health information you’ve provided and
become comfortable
in the C4F environment. You’ll have the chance to share your desires, motivations,
likes and dislikes. Finally, you’ll set a fitness schedule that’s realistic.
Now body assessment testing and profiling begins.
There are nine profiles in all. Our Basic Assessment
Package consists of six profiles. For those
who want to learn more, an Advanced Assessment Package incorporates
three final profiles.
Your Assessment Review Session
After you’ve completed your health-fitness screening, you, the Exercise
Physiologist and your
Fitness Specialist will review your results and
create your individual profile. This is a complete package
of your results. You’ll learn where you stand compared to others
of your age and sex.
Ready to move on? Great. Now we can lay the groundwork for your training program by defining your goals and objectives and charting a plan of action.
Today you’ll begin your regular workouts and nutritional program.
Every three to six months you should reassess your progress and, when necessary, modify your program.
Congratulations. You’re on your way to better health.
